Terps Blank Tar Heels For NCAA Crown
At Frisco, Texas:
Graham Zusi's goal, almost midway through the second half, lifted Maryland to a 1-0 victory over ACC rival North Carolina to win the men's NCAA national soccer championship on Sunday.
The title was the Terrapins' second in four years, and spoiled the Tar Heels' shot at sweeping the men's and women's titles. The UNC gals defeated Notre Dame last weekend for the women's crown.
