Home Draw For League-Leading Grasshoppers

At Zurich, Switzerland:

Izet Hajrovic scored the equalizer in the 35th minute for Grasshoppers as the Swiss Super League leaders gained a 1-1 Saturday home draw with Lausanne-Sport.  Abraham Guie Gneki scored in the 13th minute for the visitors.

Four League Wins In A Row For Grasshoppers

At Lausanne, Switzerland:

Milan Vilotic (49') and Amir Abrashi (90'+4) provided the scoring as Grasshoppers grabbed their fourth straight Swiss Super League victory on Saturday, 2-0 on the road over Lausanne Sport, enabling them to move to second place in the league standings, one point in back of league-leading St. Gallen.

Tough End To Rough Season For Grasshoppers

At Lausanne, Switzerland:


Matt Moussilou scored the winning goal in the 87th minute on Wednesday as Lausanne Sport defeated visiting Grasshoppers 2-1 in the Swiss Super League season finale for both clubs.  Grasshoppers finished eighth in the league this year, and perhaps fortunate enough to do so (and avoid relegation) as FC Sion were docked 36 points for fielding ineligible players and Neuchatel Xamax had their license revoked for not providing the necessary financial documents and guarantees (they were demoted to the fourth division).

Dreary Conclusion To Rough First Half Of Season For Grasshoppers---They Lose To Last-Place Lausanne Sports

At Lausanne, Switzerland:


Junior Negrao (5') and Nicolas Marin (37') each delivered a goal in the first half as basement-residing Lausanne Sports defeated visiting----and next-to-last-place Grasshoppers 2-1 in Sunday Swiss Super League action as the first half of the season came to a conclusion for both clubs.  For Grasshoppers, their next league match will take place as FC Lucerne on March 3.

Triumphant Start For Grasshoppers

At Zurich, Switzerland:


With Steven Zuber (56') and Innocent Emeghara (82') providing the second-half goal power, Grasshoppers got their Swiss Super League season off to a successful start on Wednesday with a 2-0 home win over promoted FC Lausanne Sports.
