Group stage play in the UEFA Champions League concluded Wednesday.

Group A:

At Manchester, England:

With goals from Carlos Tevez (3') and Wayne Rooney (52'), Manchester United locked up first place in Group A as they salvaged a 2-2 home draw with UEFA Cup-bound Aalborg BK. Michael Jakobsen (31') and Jeppe Curth (45'+2, he's seen here celebrating) tallied for the visiting Danish club.

At Glasgow, Scotland:

Celtic wrapped up their European campaign with a 2-0 home win over UCL knockout stage-bound Villarreal. Shaun Maloney (14', he's seen here celebrating) and Aiden McGeady (45'+2) each scored once for the Bhoys.
