Jasur Hasanov (44') and Shavkat Salomov (75') provided the scoring that enabled FC Bunyodkor to erase a two-goal lead and gain a 2-2 road draw in the opening match of their two-game series with Adelaide United. Iain Ramsay (8') and Evan Kostopoulos (18') each scored a goal for the hosts.
At Ulsan, South Korea:
Rafinha scored the only goal of the match in the 10th minute as Ulsan Hyundai FC defeated visiting Al-Hilal 1-0 in their series opener.
At Isfahan, Iran:
The opening match between Sepahan and visiting Al Ahli from Saudi Arabia resulted in a 0-0 stalemate.
At Jeddah, Saudi Arabia:
Naif Hazazi scored twice (61', 89') as Al-Ittihad doubled up visiting Guangzhou Evergrande 4-2 in game one of their two-match series.
