Eight games were played on Wednesday as the opening week of group-stage play in the UEFA Champions League concluded. Two of the games were played in Group E.
At Donetsk, Ukraine:
Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored both goals (44', 76') in Shakhtar Donetsk's 2-0 home blanking of FC Nordsjaelland, spoiling the not-so-Wild Tigers' Champions League group-stage debut. Here's Hammerin' Henrikh seen here scoring one of his goals past the Danish club's goalkeeper Jesper Hansen.
At London:
Arturo Vidal (38') and Fabio Quagliarella (80') provided the scoring as Juventus gained a 2-2 road draw with defending champions Chelsea. Oscar scored both goals for the Blues in the 31st and 33rd minutes. That's him celebrating after scoring.
