Kayserispor Wins Marathon Match For Turkish Cup

At Bursa, Turkey:

It took a super-long penalty kick shootout for Kayserispor to win the Turkish Cup on Wednesday, defeating Gencerbirligi following a scoreless 120 minutes.

Aydin Toscali scored Kayserispor's final penalty before Mehmet Cakir missed the 28th spot kick in the shootout at the Ataturk stadium in the northwest Turkish city of Bursa.
It was the first time in 20 years that the final did not feature one of the four big teams -- Istanbul's Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas or Trabzonspor on the Black Sea.

This means Kayserispor will move on to the second qualifying round of next season's UEFA Cup.
