Andre Ayew scored the only goal of the match at 30 minutes as Ghana blanked Burkina Faso 1-0 to advance to the quarterfinal round.

2. Ghana (GP: 2; GD: -1; PTS: 3)
3. Burkina Faso (GP: 2; GD: -1; PTS: 1)
Ivory Coast and Ghana advanced to the quarterfinal round.
Ghana will take on Angola in Luanda and Ivory Coast will battle Algeria in Cabinda in quarterfinal round play, both games taking place on Saturday.
