Emad Moteab (34'), Ahmed Hassan (54'), and Mohamed Gedo (87') each tallied once as Egypt overpowered Nigeria 3-1.

Mozambique, with goals courtesy of Almiro Lobo (29') and Carlos Goncalves (54') came back from two goals down to gain a 2-2 deadlock with Benin in Tuesday's other Group C match.
