At Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo:
Karim Ali Hadji scored twice in the first half (1', 44') while Hocine Achiou added one for good measure in the 85th minute as ASO Chlef defeated AS Vita Club 3-2 on the road in game two and won their two-game series by that same score on aggregate.
At Abidjan, Ivory Coast:
Despite dropping a 2-1 road decision in game two against Africa Sports, Zamalek, with the score at 2-2 on aggregate, still won their two-game series with the Ivorian club on away goals. Amr Zaki scored the series winner in the 82nd minute for the Egyptian club.
At Fes, Morocco:
Hamza Abourazzouk scored twice (24', 71') as Maghreb de Fes smothered visiting Horoya AC 3-0 in game two and took out the Guinean club 4-1 on aggregate.
At Cairo, Egypt:
Mohamed Aboutrika scored twice (PK-61', 77') as Al-Ahly, following last month's scoreless draw in Addis Ababa, blanked visiting Ethiopia Coffee 3-0 in game two and took the series by that same score on aggregate.
At Ijebu Ode, Nigeria:
Sunshine Stars overturned their 4-1 road defeat of March 25 with a 3-0 home win over Recreativo do Libolo, stunning the Angolan club by knocking them out on away goals (4-4 on aggregate).
At Harare, Zimbabwe:
Takesure Chinyama scored the only goal of the match in the 17th minute as Dynamos defeated visiting Liga Muculmana 1-0 in game two and won their two-game series 3-2 on aggregate.
At Garoua, Cameroon:
Jacques Haman scored the only goal of the match in the 21st minute as Coton Sport overturned their road defeat in Nigeria with a 1-0 game-two home win over Dolphins FC and, with the aggregate score at 2-2, took the two-game series on away goals.
At Casablanca, Morocco:
Despite dropping a 3-0 road decision in game two, Ghana's Berekum Chelsea still won their two-match series with Raja Casablanca 5-3 on aggregate.
At Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo:
A hat trick from Tresor Mputu (21', PK-66', 72') and a double from Given Singuluma (42', 44') played a big part in TP Mazembe's 6-0 home demolition of Power Dynamos in game two and their 7-1 aggregate win in their two-match series.
