Three games were played on Friday as first-round action in the CAF Champions League resumed.
At Sousse, Tunisia:

At Rades, Tunisia:
Esperace ST dominated game two at home 3-1 and eliminated Brikama United 4-2 on aggregate in their two-game series. Wajdi Bouazzi (40'), Youssef Msakni (45'), and Karim Aouadhi (72') each tallied once for the defending champions.
At Omdurman, Sudan:
Mudather El Tahir (18', 40') and Edward Sadomba (48', PK-65') each scored twice as Al-Hilal Omdurman proved to be too much for DFC8 as they dominated the visiting club from the Central African Republic 5-1 in game two and won the two-game series 8-1 on aggregate.
