At Manchester, England:



Michael Carrick scored the only goal of the match in the 7th minute (shown here as he beats goalkeeper Fernando Muslera) as Manchester United defeated visiting Galatasaray 1-0.

At Braga, Portugal:



Rafael Bastos scored both goals (19', 34') in CFR Cluj's 2-0 road win over Sporting Braga.  Here's Braga's Eder battling the Transylvanian-based club's Ionut Rada for the ball.
