UEFA Champions League, Group D: Ain't Nothin' But 2-2 Draws; Nobody Advanced Or Eliminated

Two games were played Group D of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

At Manchester, England:

Goals from Yaya Toure (22') and Sergio Aguero (74') enabled Manchester City to salvage a 2-2 home draw (after trailing 2-0 early) with Ajax Amsterdam, keeping the Citizens' slim hopes of advancing to the knockout stage alive.  Siem De Jong scored twice (10', 17') for Ajax.  Here are players from both clubs having a few words for the officiating crew.

At Madrid:


Mesut Ozil's late equalizer (89') enabled Real Madrid to gain a 2-2 home draw with Borussia Dortmund.  Pepe also scored in the 34th minute for Los Galacticos.  Marco Reus (28') and Alvaro Arbeola (OG-45') provided the first-half scoring for the visiting German club.
