The second week of group-stage play in the Copa Libertadores commenced on Tuesday with four games.
Group One:
At Toluca, Mexico:
Vicente Sanchez scored twice (47', 55') and Ivan Alonso scored the winning goal in the 57th minute as Club Nacional made the trek from Uruguay, came from behind, and defeated Toluca 3-2.
Group Four:
At Montevideo, Uruguay:
Juan Olivera scored the only goal of the match in the 68th minute as Penarol defeated visiting Club Sport Emelec 1-0.
Group Five:
At Bogota, Colombia:
Richard Ruiz scored the only goal of the match in the 62nd minute as Club Tijuana knocked off Millonarios 1-0 on the road.
Group Seven:
At Asuncion, Paraguay:
Juan Salgueiro (2'), Richard Ortiz (9'), and Salustiano Candia (48') each delivered a goal as Club Olimpia dominated visiting Universidad de Chile 3-0.
