FIFA World Cup Qualifying (CONCACAF): Team USA Gains Road Draw With Honduras; Ticos and El Tri Likewise In Costa Rica; Panama Dominates Soca Warriors

Three games were contested on Tuesday as CONCACAF-regional qualifying for next year's FIFA World Cup continued.

At San Pedro Sula, Honduras:

Bobby Wood's equalizer in the 85th minute enabled the United States to gain a 1-1 road draw with Honduras.  Romell Quioto scored for the Catrachos in the in the 27th minute.
  At San Jose, Costa Rica:

Marco Urena's equalizer in the 83rd minute enabled Costa Rica to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Mexico.  Cristian Gamboa's own goal in the 43rd minute put El Tri on the scoreboard.

At Panama City, Panama:

Gabriel Torres (39'), Carlyle Mitchell (OG-58'), and Abdiel Arroyo (85') each scored once as Panama dominated visiting Trinidad and Tobago 3-0.

NOTE:  With the United States and Honduras level on points with nine, the Americans have the superior goal differential (+1, compared to the Catrachos' -7).
