In Tuesday's FIFA Club World Cup semifinal match, Everton Soares scored the winning goal in the 94th minute as Gremio of Brazil defeated Mexico's Pachuca 1-0 in overtime to advance to Sunday's final against the winner of Wednesday's Al-Ain-Real Madrid match.
In the fifth-place match contested earlier Tuesday, also at Al Ain, Mauricio Antonio scored twice (17', 59') as Japan's Urawa Red Diamonds held off Morocco's Wydad Casablanca 3-2.
