At Porto, Portugal:
Nicolas Anelka scored the lone goal of the match at 69 minutes (he's shown celebrating with teammate Didier Drogba) as Chelsea locked up the Group D title with a 1-0 road win over FC Porto in a battle of the group's two knockout-stage-bound clubs.
At Nicosia, Cyprus:
In a battle of two teams battling for a UEFA Europa League knockout stage berth, Simao's equalizer at 62 minutes lifted Atletico Madrid to a 1-1 road draw with APOEL FC , keeping them one point ahead of their hosts in the race for third place in Group D.
