FA Cup: Chelsea Nab Controversial Win Over Spurs; Get Liverpool In Final

At London:

Chelsea defeated local London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 in Sunday's FA Cup semifinal contest.  The game was marred by a controversial goal awarded in the 49th minute to Juan Mata though replay clearly showed that the ball didn't cross the goal line.  Noncontroversial goals for the Blues were scored by Didier Drogba (43'), Ramires (77'), Frank Lampard (81'), and Florent Malouda (90'+4).  Chelsea will be gunning for their third FA Cup title in four years (and fourth in six years; their seventh overall) when they face seven-time winners Liverpool (who last won the title in 2006) in the final on May 5 at Wembley Stadium in London.
