UEFA Champions League: Super Mario's Winner Gives Bayern Advantage After Semifinal Opener With Galacticos

At Munich, Germany:

Mario Gomez gets lucky to score with his standing foot to earn Bayern Munich a vital one-goal advantage to take to the Bernabeu.

Mario Gomez delivered the game-winning goal in the 90th minute (shown here) as Bayern Munich defeated visiting Real Madrid 2-1 in the opening game of their two-game UEFA Champions League semifinal series.  Franck Ribery also scored for the hosts in the 17th minute.  Mesut Ozil scored what could still prove to be a precious road goal for the Galacticos in the 53rd minute.
