UEFA Champions League: Group D: Ajax Make Things Tough For Citizens; Galacticos Knocked Off In Dortmund

Two games were played in Group D of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

At Amsterdam, Netherlands:


Siem De Jong (45', that's him celebrating), Niklas Moisander (57'), and Christian Eriksen (68') each tallied once as Ajax Amsterdam downed visiting Manchester City 3-1.

Robert Lewandowski (36') and Marcel Schmelzer (64') provided the scoring as Borussia Dortmund took over first place in Group D after their 2-1 home win over Real Madrid.  Here are happy Dortmund players celebrating their big win.
