UEFA Champions League, Group G: Spartak Moscow Hold Off Eagles; Barca Hold Off Stubborn Bhoys

Two games were contested in Group G of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

At Moscow:

Jardel Nivaldo Vieira's own goal in the 43rd minute proved decisive as Spartak Moscow defeated visiting SL Benfica 2-1.  Pictured here are Spartak's Jose Manuel Jurado (left) and Evgeni Makeev (right) celebrating the Eagles' own goal.


At Barcelona:

Barcelona celebrate their late goal against Celtic

Jordi Alba scored the winning goal in second-half stoppage time (90'+4) as Barcelona fought off visiting Celtic in come-from-behind fashion, 2-1.  Here are the happy victors celebrating after Jordi's late heroics.
