Copa Libertadores: Real Garcilaso Advance To Knockout Stage

The final week of group-stage play in the Copa Libertdaores commenced on Tuesday with two games, both played in Group Six.

At Asuncion, Paraguay:

Cerro Porteno battled visiting Deportes Tolima to a 0-0 stalemate, eliminating the Colombian club from the tournament.

At Bogota, Colombia:

Wilder Medina (47') and Cristian Borja (71') each delivered a goal as Santa Fe won Group Six with a 2-0 home blanking of Real Garcilaso.  Despite the defeat, the Peruvian club advanced to the knockout stage.

FINAL GROUP SIX STANDINGS:

1. Santa Fc (GP: 6; GD: +5; PTS: 14)
2. Real Garcilaso (GP: 6; GD: +1; PTS: 10)
3. Deportes Tolima (GP: 6; GD: +2; PTS: 8)

Santa Fe and Real Garcilaso advanced to the knockout stage.
