The semifinal round of England's Conference National promotion playoffs concluded with two games played on Sunday.
At Kidderminster, England:
Brett Ormerod (30'), Lee Vaughan (OG-69'), and Neil Ashton (PK-85') each scored a goal as Wrexham defeated Kidderminster Harriers 3-1 on the road in game two and won their two-match series 5-2 on aggregate.
At Newport, Wales:
Christian Jolley scored the lone goal of the match in the 31st minute as Newport County racked up a second straight 1-0 victory over Grimsby Town, this time at home, and eliminated the Mariners 2-0 on aggregate.
In an all-Welsh affair, Wrexham will take on Newport County next Sunday at Wrembley Stadium in London in the promotion final, with the winner joining regular-season champs Mansfield Town in gaining promotion to the Football League in general, League Two in particular.
