UEFA Champions League, Group D: Juve Top Citizens At Home, Lock Up Berth In Knockout Stage; Sevilla Eliminated

Two Group D contests within the UEFA Champions League were played on Wednesday.

At Turin, Italy:

Mario Mandzukic scored the only goal of the match in the 18th minute as Juventus clinched a berth in the Champions League's knockout stage following their 1-0 home win over already-knockout-stage-bound Manchester City.  Here's Mario (left), celebrating with Paul Pogba after scoring the goal that propelled the Old Lady into the Round of 16 (as well as the top of the group).

At Monchengladbach, Germany:

Lars Stindl scored twice (29', 83'; that's him celebrating after one of his goals) as Borussia Monchengladbach defeated visiting Sevilla 4-2 to climb up to third place in Group D.
