Two games were played as Group D action in the UEFA Champions League ended on Tuesday.
At Manchester, England:
Raheem Sterling scored twice (79', 81', that's him celebrating) as Manchester City doubled-up visiting Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2 and overtook Juventus and won Group D.
At Seville, Spain:
Fernando Llorente (that's him, center) scored the lone goal in the 65th minute as Sevilla defeated visiting knockout-stage-bound Juventus 1-0 and took the group's Europa League Round of 32 berth.

1. Manchester City (GP: 6; GD: +4; PTS: 12)
2. Juventus (GP: 6; GD: +3; PTS: 11)
3. Sevilla (GP: 6; GD: -3; PTS: 6)
4. Borussia Monchengladbach (GP: 6; GD: -4; PTS: 5)
Manchester City and Juventus advanced to the Champions League's knockout stage. Sevilla qualified for the Europa League's knockout stage.

At Turin, Italy:
Mario Mandzukic scored the only goal of the match in the 18th minute as Juventus clinched a berth in the Champions League's knockout stage following their 1-0 home win over already-knockout-stage-bound Manchester City. At Monchengladbach, Germany:
Lars Stindl scored twice (29', 83'; that's him celebrating after one of his goals) as Borussia Monchengladbach defeated visiting Sevilla 4-2 to climb up to third place in Group D.

Two games in Group D of the UEFA Champions League were contested on Tuesday.
At Monchengladbach, Germany:
Stephan Lichtsteiner's equalizer in the 44th minute lifted Juventus to a 1-1 road draw with Borussia Monchengladbach. Fabian Johnson scored for the hosts (who were the first club to be eliminated from the tournament) in the 18th minute. That's ol' Stephan celebrating after scoring the game-tying goal that enabled The Old Lady to grab a point on the road.

At Seville, Spain:

The midway point of Group D play in the UEFA Champions League was reached on Wednesday with two matches.
At Turin, Italy:
Borussia Monchengladbach held hosts Juventus to a 0-0 deadlock. That's Juve's Paul Pogba battling Gladbach's Granit Xhaka for the ball.
At Manchester, England:
Kevin De Bruyne scored the winning goal in the opening minute of second-half stoppage time as Manchester City defeated visiting Sevilla 2-1. Here's Kevin celebrating his game winner with Citizens manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Kevin Gameiro (PK-47', that's him celebrating after scoring), Ever Banega (PK-66'), and Yevhen Konoplyanka (84') delivered the goal power as Sevilla broke open what had been a scoreless stalemate at halftime and turned it into a 3-0 domination of visiting Borussia Monchengladbach.
