Two more clubs advanced to the group stage of the Copa Libertadores on Wednesday.
At Avellaneda, Argentina:
Gustavo Bou scored the only goal of the match in the 74th minute as Racing Club de Avellaneda defeated visiting Puebla 1-0 in the second game of their two-match series which the Argentinian club won 3-2 on aggregate. Racing will play in Group Three alongside fellow Argentinian club Boca Juniors, Bolivia's Bolivar, and Colombia's Deportivo Cali.
At Sao Paulo, Brazil:
Jose Rogerio de Oliveira Melo scored the lone goal of the match in the 87th minute as Sao Paulo took out visiting Universidad Cesar Vallejo 1-0 in game two and ousted the Peruvian club 2-1 on aggregate and locked up a berth in Group One. The Brazilian club will join defending champions River Plate (Argentina), The Strongest (Bolivia), and Trujillanos FC (Venezuela).
