At Toluca, Mexico:
Enrique Triverio scored both goals (46', PK-76') in Toluca's 2-0 home win over Brazil Gremio.
GROUP EIGHT:
At El Salvador, Chile:
Miguel Escalona's own goal in the 90th minute proved costly and decisive as Corinthians defeated Cobresal 1-0 on the road.
