AFC Champions League

Eight games were contested on Tuesday as group-stage play in the AFC Champions League resumed.

GROUP A:

At Dubai, United Arab Emirates:

Nilmar (57') and Jonathan Pitroipa (PK-90'+4) each scored once to lift Al-Nasr to a 2-0 blanking of visiting Sepahan.

At Jeddah, Saudi Arabia:

Temurkhuja Abdukholiquv's successful penalty kick in the 80th minute enabled Lokomotiv Tashkent to gain a 1-1 road draw with Al-Ittihad.  Sulley Muntari scored for the hosts in the 14th minute.

NOTES: Sepahan defeated Al-Nasr 2-0 at home on February 23; Lokomotiv Tashkent drew 1-1 on the road with Al-Ittihad on Tuesday.



GROUP B:

At Tashkent, Uzbekistan:

Mobido Maiga scored the only goal of the match in the 36th minute as Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia knocked off FC Bunyodkor 1-0 on the road.

At Isfahan, Iran:

Zob Ahan Esfahan FC and visiting Lekhwiya SC battled to a 0-0 stalemate.

At Tokyo:

Nathans Burns (50'), Bui Tan Truong (OG-67'), and Ryoichi Maeda (84') each scored once as FC Tokyo downed visiting Becamex Bihn Duong 3-1.

At Nanjing, China:

Wu Xi scored the winning goal in the 69th minute as Jiangsu FC defeated visiting Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors 3-2.

2. Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (GP: 2; GD: 0; PTS: 3)

At Seoul, South Korea:

Carlos Adriano de Souza Cruz delivered a natural hat trick (49', 56', 69') as FC Seoul dominated visiting Sanfrecce Hiroshima 4-1.

At Jinan, China:

Diego Tardelli (65'), Jucilei (81'), and Zhao Mingjian (86') each scored once as Shandong Luneng dominated visiting Buriram United 3-0.

Group F Standings:
