MLS: Reds And NYCFC Battle To 2-2 Draw In The Bronx ; Quakes Hold Off Timbers

Two Sunday games were contested in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

At The Bronx, New York:

Damien Perquis (45'+1) and Sebastian Giovinco (76') each scored once as Toronto FC came back from two goals down to gain a 2-2 road draw with New York City.  David Villa (PK-24', 28') scored both of the Citizens' goals.

At San Jose, California:

Chris Wondolowski (30') and Quincy Amerikwa (45'+1) each scored once in the first half as the San Jose Earthquakes held off the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1.
