At Orlando, Florida:
Carlos Rivas (70') and the returning Kaka (90'+1) each scored once as Orlando City blanked the visiting Colorado Rapids 2-0.
At Columbus, Ohio:
Jack Harrison scored twice (8', 76') as New York City defeated the Columbus Crew 3-2 on the road.
At Harrison, New Jersey:
Bradley Wright-Phillips (37') and Kemar Lawrence (71') delivered the goal power that lifted the New York Red Bulls to a 2-1 home win over the Chicago Fire.
At Frisco, Texas:
Goals from Maximiliano Urruti (61') and Tesho Akindele (80') enabled FC Dallas remain unbeaten as the Hoops gained a 2-2 home draw with the Portland Timbers. Fanendo Adi (30') and Sebastian Blanco (71') produced the guests' goals.
At Minneapolis:
Florian Jungwirth scored the only goal of the match in the 54th minute as the San Jose Earthquakes defeated Minnesota United 1-0 on the road.
At Kansas City, Kansas:
Benny Feilhaber (17'), Dom Dwyer (51'), and Gerso (90'+5) each tallied once as Sporting Kansas City stretched their club-record unbeaten streak to 13 games with their 3-0 white-washing of Real Salt Lake.
At Seattle:
Nicolas Lodeiro (75'), Will Bruin (85'), and Osvaldo Alonso (88') each scored a second half goal during a 13-minute span as the Seattle Sounders erased a three-goal deficit to gain a 3-3 home draw with the New England Revolution.
Juan Agudelo scored twice (26', 54') and Daigo Kobayashi once (15') for the Revs.
At Carson, California:
The Los Angeles Galaxy and visiting (and still winless) Philadelphia Union battled to a 0-0 stalemate.
