From The WTF Department: Relegated Pompey Reach FA Cup Final

On the day after securing relegation from the English Premier League, Portsmouth knocked off Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in overtime at Wembley Stadium on Sunday to reach the final of the FA Cup.  After a scoreless 90 minutes of regulation time, Pompey scored both goals in overtime, with Frederic Piquionne (99') and Kevin-Prince Boateng (PK-117') providing the tallies.

Pompey will face Chelsea in the final at Wembley on May 15.



 

FA Cup: Blues Blow Out Villans To Reach Another Final

At London:

Didier Drogba (68'), Florent Malouda (89'), and Frank Lampard (90') each tallied once in the second half as Chelsea broke open what had been a scoreless deadlock to defeat Aston Villa 3-0 on Saturday to reach the final of the FA Cup.
