After Toronto FC took game two of the Canadian Championship Final 1-0 at home to square the series at 1-1 on aggregate, and with overtime dispensed with, Bojan Krkic Perez, Daniel Lovitz, and Rudy Camacho all converted their spot kicks as the visiting Montreal Impact beat the Reds in the penalty-kick shootout 3-1 to claim their first CC title---and first CONCACAF Champions League berth---since 2014.

Canadian Championship Final, Impact Take Series Opener Over Reds

In Wednesday's opening game of the Canadian Championship Final, Ignacio Piatti's goal in the 17th minute lifted the Montreal Impact to a 1-0 home victory over Toronto FC.
The series will conclude next Wednesday in Toronto; the winner would qualify for next year's CONCACAF Champions League.
