UEFA Champions League, Group A: PSG, Blancos Win; Club Brugge To Europa League

Group-stage play in the UEFA Champions League concluded on Wednesday with eight games, two of them in Group A.

At Bruges, Belgium:

Vinicius Junior (seen here celebrating) scored what proved to be the game winner in the 64th minute as Real Madrid defeated Club Brugge 3-1.

Despite the defeat, the Belgian club still qualified for a spot in the Europa League's Round of 32.

At Paris:

Mauro Icardi opened the scoring in the 32nd minute as Paris Saint-Germain, with five players each scoring once, destroyed visiting Galatasaray 5-0 and ended the Turkish club's European campaign.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid advanced to the Champions League's knockout stage; Club Brugge qualified for the knockout stage of the Europa League.

UEFA Champions League, Group A: Galacticos Clinch Berth In Knockout Stage ; PSG Wins Group

Group-stage play in the UEFA Champions League resumed on Tuesday with eight games, two of them in Group A.

At Istanbul, Turkey:

Krepin Diatta's equalizer at the death (90'+2, that's him, center, celebrating with teammates) lifted Club Brugge to a 1-1 road draw with Galatasaray.

Adem Buyuk scored for the hosts in the 11th minute.

At Madrid:

Kylian Mbappe (81', that's him, here, with the game ball after scoring) and Pablo Sarabia (83') each scored a goal two minutes apart late in the second half as Paris Saint-Germain came from two goals behind to deadlock Real Madrid 2-2 on the road to clinch top spot in Group A.

Los Blancos (with Karim Benzema scoring in the 17th and 79th minutes) still clinched a berth in the Champions League's Round of 16.

UEFA Champions League, Group A: PSG Top Club Brugge To Clinch Knockout-Stage Berth; Blancos Destroy Galatasaray (Who Were Eliminated)

UEFA Champions League group-stage action continued on Wednesday with eight games, two of them in Group A.

At Madrid:

Rodrygo Silva de Goes delivered a hat trick (4', 7', 90'+3; that's him celebrating) as Real Madrid nuked visiting Galatasaray 6-0 eliminating the Turkish club from the tournament.

At Paris:

Mauro Icardi scored the game's lone goal in the 22nd minute as Paris Saint-Germain defeated visiting Club Brugge 1-0 to advance to the knockout stage.

Here are the happy PSG players saluting the local fans after clinching an eighth successive Round of 16 appearance.

UEFA Champions League, Group A: Galacticos, PSG Gather Tuesday Wins

Eight games were contested (with two of them in Group A) on Tuesday as group-stage play resumed in the UEFA Champions League.

At Istanbul, Turkey:

Toni Kroos (seen here celebrating) scored the only goal of Real Madrid's 1-0 road win over Galatasaray in the 18th minute.

At Bruges, Belgium:

Kylian Mbappe (seen here) produced a hat trick (61', 79', 83') while Mauro Icardi added a double (7', 63') as Paris Saint-Germain destroyed Club Brugge 5-0 on the road.

UEFA Champions League, Group A: Blancos Salvage Home Draw With Club Brugge; PSU Knock Off Galatasaray In Turkey

Group-stage play in the UEFA Champions League resumed on Tuesday with eight games, two of them in Group A.

At Madrid:

Goals from Sergio Ramos (55') and Carlos Casemiro (85', shown here) enabled Real Madrid to gain a 2-2 home draw with Club Brugge.

Emmanuel Dennis scored both of the Belgian club's goals in the ninth and 39th minutes.

UEFA Champions League, Group A: PSG Prove Too Much For Blancos; Goose Eggs For Club Bruge and Galatasaray

Eight games----including two from Group A-----in the UEFA Champions League were contested on Wednesday.

At Bruges, Belgium:


Club Bruge and visiting Galatasaray battled to a 0-0 stalemate.  That's Gala goalkeeper Fernando Muslera making a key save here.

At Paris:

Angel Di Maria scored twice (14', 33', that's him celebrating after his second goal) as Paris Saint-Germain dominated visiting Real Madrid 3-0.
