Mario Hermoso (39') and Yannick Carrasco (86') each scored once as Atletico Madrid blanked FC Red Bull Salzburg 2-0 on the road to secure a Champions League knockout-stage berth.

The Red Bulls will play in the Europa League's round of 32.

At London:

Jorginho's penalty kick in the 28th minute delivered the goal that lifted Chelsea to a 1-1 home draw with FC Krasnodar.

Remy Cabella scored in the 24th minute for the Russian club.

At Rennes, France:

Youssef En-Nesyri scored twice (45'+2, 81') as Sevilla defeated Rennes 3-1 on the road.

At Moscow:

Mergim Berisha scored twice (28', 41') each scored once to keep FC Red Bull Salzburg's razor-thin hopes of advancing to the Champions League's knockout stage alive as they defeated Lokomotiv Moscow 3-1 on the road.

At Madrid:

Thomas Muller's successfully-executed 89th-minute penalty kick lifted Bayern Munich to a 1-1 road draw with Atletico Madrid, preventing the Mattress Makers from advancing to the knockout stage.

Joao Felix scored for the hosts in the 26th minute.

Jose Gimenez scored for the Mattress Makers at 18 minutes.

At Wals-Siezenheim, Germany:

Robert Lewandowski scored twice (PK-21', 88') as Bayern Munich turned FC Red Bull Salzburg into hamburger 6-2 on the road.
