At Amsterdam, Netherlands:

Luis Muriel scored the only goal of the match in the 85th minute as Atalanta clinched a berth in the Champions League's knockout stage after their 1-0 road victory over Ajax Amsterdam that sent the hosts to the Europa League's round-of-32.

At Herning, Denmark.

Alexander Scholz's successful penalty kick in the 62nd minute lifted FC Midtjylland to a 1-1 home draw with Liverpool as their European campaign came to a close.

Mohamed Salah scored for the Reds in the opening minute as Liverpool already locked up top spot in Group H and a Champions League knockout-stage berth.

At Liverpool, England:

Curtis Jones' goal in the 58th minute lifted Liverpool to a 1-0 home victory over Ajax Amsterdam---and a berth in the knockout stage as well as the Group D title.

At Bergamo, Italy:

Cristian Romero's equalizer in the 79th minute enabled Atalanta to gain a 1-1 home draw with FC Midtjylland.

Alexander Scholz scored for the Wolves in the 13th minute.

At Liverpool, England:

Josip Ilicic (60') and Robin Gosens (64') each scored once as Atalanta knocked off Liverpool 2-0 on the road.

At Amsterdam, Netherlands:

Noussair Mazraoui scored the winning goal in the 49th minute as Ajax Amsterdam defeated visiting FC Midtjylland 3-1, knocking the Danish club out of European competition.

At Herning, Denmark:

In a match in which all three goals were scored in the first twenty minutes, Antony (1') and Dusan Tadic (13') delivered the goalpower that carried Ajax Amsterdam to a 2-1 road win over FC Midtjylland.

At Bergamo, Italy:

Diogo Jota delivered a hat trick (16', 33', 54') as Liverpool delivered a 5-0 frontier-styled road fist-beating to Atalanta.

At Herning, Denmark:

Duvan Zapata (26'), Alejandro Gomez (36'), and Luis Fernando Muriel Fruto (42'), and Aleksei Miranchuk (89') each scored once as Atalanta demolished FC Midtjylland 4-0 on the road.
