At Wolverhampton, England:

Lawrie Wilson's equalizer in the 58th minute lifted Charlton Athletic to a 1-1 Saturday English League Championship road draw with Wolverhampton.  Bakary Sako scored in the 12th minute for Wolves.

Addicks Knock Off Blades In Battle Of Promotion Aspirants

Johnnie Jackson scored the only goal of the match in the 21st minute on Saturday as Charlton Athletic, leading the English League One standings defeated visiting Sheffield United (now in third place) 1-0 in a contest that saw both clubs ending the game with ten men.

Wolves Win Promotion Back To Premiership; Addicks Relegated To League One

At Wolverhampton, England:

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake scored the game's only goal at 46 minutes to lift Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 1-0 home win Saturday over Queens Park Rangers to seal automatic promotion from the Football League Championship to the English Premier League after a five-year absence.

Meanwhile, at London:

Goals from Dudley Campbell (PK-67') and Lee Hughes (90') lifted Blackpool to a 2-2 road draw with Charlton Athletic, ensuring the Addicks (who played in the Premiership as recently as 2007) of relegation down to League One.
