Trond Kids Triumphant On The Road In Season Finale

Daniel Holm scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 57th minute as Rosenborg concluded their Norwegian Eliteserien campaign with a 4-1 road domination of Honefoss.

The Trond Kids, who finished third in the league standings, will play in the opening round of qualifying for next season's Europa League, while second-placed Stromgodset will take part in the third qualifying round for the same tournament.

Molde, who repeated as league champions, will play in the second qualifying round for the 2013-14 UEFA Champions League.

Sandnes Ulf will take part in the promotion/relegation playoffs, while Fredrikstad and Stabaek (who won the league crown in 2008) were directly relegated to the second-tier Adeccoligaen and will be replaced by IK Start and Sarpsborg 08.

Christoffer Dahl scored the only goal of the match in the 87th minute on Wednesday as Honefoss knocked off Rosenborg 1-0 on the road.  The Trond Kids fell from the top of the Norwegian Eliteserien standings to third place, behind Stromsgodset and Molde.
