Miguel Borja's goal in the eighth minute held up on Wednesday as Atletico Nacional defeated visiting Indepeniente del Valle 1-0 in game two of the Copa Libertadores Final and won their second South American club championship (their first since 1989).
The Colombian club will play in the semifinal round of December's FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in Japan.

Copa Libertadores Final: Independiente del Valle Battle Atletico Nacional To Series-Opening Draw In Quito
At Quito, Ecuador:
Arturo Mina's goal in the 87th minute enabled Independiente del Valle to salvage a 1-1 home draw with Atletico Nacional in Wednesday opening contest of the Copa Libertadores Final.
Orlando Berrio scored for the Colombian club in the 36th minute.
The series will conclude next Wednesday at Medellin, Colombia.
The winner will advance to December's FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in Japan.
