The Montreal Impact selected Duke defenseman Andrew Wenger with the first selection of Thursday's Major League Soccer SuperDraft.

The other first-round selections:

Vancouver Whitecaps: Darren Mattocks, forward, Akron

New England Revolution: Kelyn Rowe, midfielder, UCLA

Toronto FC:  Luis Silva, midfielder, UC Santa Barbara

Chivas USA: Casey Townsend, forward, Maryland

San Jose Earthquakes: Sam Garza, forward, UC Santa Barbara

DC United: Nick DeLeon, forward, Louisville

Portland Timbers: Andrew Jean-Baptiste, defenseman, Connecticut

Chicago Fire: Austin Berry, defenseman, Louisville

Columbus Crew: Ethan Finlay, forward, Creighton

FC Dallas: Matt Hedges, defenseman, North Carolina

Toronto FC (with pick acquired in last April's trade with the New York Red Bulls for Dwayne De Rosario): Aaron Maund, defenseman, Notre Dame

Philadelphia Union: Chandler Hoffman, forward, UCLA

Colorado Rapids: Tony Cascio, midfielder, Connecticut

Seattle Sounders FC: Andrew Duran, defenseman, Creighton
