Wolves Devour Struggling Canaries

At Wolverhampton, England:

Diogo Jota scored twice (19', 30') and Raul Jimenez once (50') as Wolverhampton Wanderers dominated visiting---and relegation-threatened----Norwich City 3-0 in Sunday English Premier League action.

The Canaries now find themselves at the foot of the EPL standings, seven points adrift from safety with eleven league games remaining while Wolves are a safe bet to stay up in the top flight (eighth place, 15 points and ten spots above the drop zone).

Wolves Take Out Canaries On Road

At Norwich, England:

Romain Saiss (60') and Raul Jimenez (81') each scored once on Saturday to lift Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 2-1 English Premier League road victory over struggling Norwich City.

Canaries Shock Red Devils

At Norwich, England:

Anthony Pilkington scored the only goal of the match in the 60th minute on Saturday as Norwich City knocked off visiting Manchester United 1-0 in English Premier League action, preventing the Red Devils from climbing back to the top of the league standings (this after Manchester City's earlier 5-0 fistbeating of Aston Villa).

Wolves Fall Again: At Least They Were Competitive

At Norwich, England:


Grant Holt scored twice (26', PK-45'; he was later sent off via the red card at 85') as Norwich City came from behind to upend visiting Wolverhampton 2-1 in Saturday English Premier League action despite finishing the game with ten men.  The win was the Canaries first in their last five league games while Wolves have now lost four in a row (having won one in their last 16 league games, one in 18 in all competitions) , being outscored 14-1 in the process and are currently sitting at the bottom of the league standings.

Wolves Come Back From Two One-Goal Deficits To Gain Home Draw With Canaries

At Wolverhampton, England:

With goals from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake (36') and Ronald Zubar (82'), Wolverhampton twice battled back from one-goal deficits on Tuesday to gain a 2-2 English Premier League home draw with Norwich City.  Andrew Surman (11') and Simeon Jackson (75') each scored twice for the Canaries.

Canaries Come Back To Top Forest

At Norwich, England:

Grant Holt (10') and Andrew Surman (37') each scored once as Norwich City spotted an ealry 1-0 deficit and defeated visiting Nottingham Forest 2-1 in Friday English League Championship action.  With the win, the Canaries climbed back up to second place in the league standings while Forest blew a chance to move back to a promotion playoff berth.

Still Winless: Forest Held To 1-1 Home Draw By Promoted Canaries

At West Bridgford, England:

In Saturday action in England's League Championship, Andrew Crofts scored at 42 minutes to carry Norwich City to a 1-1 road draw with Nottingham Forest.  Dexter Blackstock converted his penalty kick at 35 minutes for the Tricky Trees' score.
