Piermario Morosini, a midfielder with Italian Serie B club Livorno (on loan from Udinese of Serie A), suffered a heart attack on the pitch during a league game on the road on Saturday at Pescara and passed away at the age of 25 en route to hospital.
As a result of Mr. Morosini's passing, all scheduled matches for this weekend in Serie A have been postponed.
