Edin Dzeko (90'+2) and Sergio Aguero (90'+4) provided the scoring as Manchester City came from behind on Sunday, the final day of the league season,  to upend visiting Queens Park Rangers 3-2 to win the English Premier League championship, the Citizens' first top-flight title since 1968, depriving local rivals Manchester United (who defeated Sunderland 1-0 on the road) the opportunity to repeat as champions.  Despite the defeat, QPR (who finished with ten men after Joey Barton's red-card ejection at 55 minutes), thanks to Bolton's 2-2 road draw at Stoke City (the visitors were relegated, ending their 11-year top-flight run), still survived their relegation battle and will play again in the Premiership next season.

Kevin Doyle Delivers Winning Goal As Wolves End Winless Streak, Climb Out Of Drop Zone

Matt Jarvis (46') and Kevin Doyle (71') provided the scoring that enabled Wolverhampton Wanderers to end their nine-match English Premier League winless streak (eleven in all competitions) with a 2-1 road win over fellow relegation candidates Queens Park Rangers.  The victory lifted Wolves out of the relegation zone as they climbed two spots to seventeenth place.

David McGoldrick's equalizer at 26 minutes enabled Nottingham Forest to gain a 1-1 draw on the road with English League Championship-leading Queens Park Rangers on Sunday, despite playing with only ten men for over an hour.  Tommy Smith scored at 16 minutes for the Super Hoops.
