Trond Kids Blow Lead, Lose To Brann

At Bergen, Norway:

Bard Finne scored twice in the waning minutes (86', 89') as Brann came from behind to overtake visiting Rosenborg 2-1 in Sunday Norwegian Eliteserien action.  The Trond Kids now find themselves in third place in the league standings, two points behind Molde and one behind Stromsgodset with seven league games remaining.

Steffen Iversen (9'), Jim Larsen (54'), and Rade Prica (81') each scored a goal on Sunday as Rosenborg got their Eliteserien season to a winning start, 3-1 over visiting Brann.

Troll Kids Eliminated From Title Race

Rudolph Austin scored twice in the first half (PK-15', 18') as Brann ended Rosenborg's slim Eliteserien title hopes with a 6-3 road triumph over the Troll Kids.  Molde locked up their first league title with a 2-2 home draw with Stromsgodset. 

Less Than Rousing Start To Rosenborg's Title Defense

Kim Ojo (11') and Bjornar Holmvik (42') provided the first-half scoring as SK Brann spoiled the start of visiting Rosenborg's title defense 2-1 on Sunday in the opening Norwegian Premier League contest for both clubs.
