Comeback Win For Wolves
At Wolverhampton, England:
After goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey saved Sebastian Larsson's penalty kick, Steven Fletcher scored twice (73', 81') as Wolverhampton came from behind to defeat visiting Sunderland 2-1 in Sunday English Premier League action, spoiling Martin O'Neill's debut of the Black Cats' new manager. The win was only Wolves second league win in their last tweleve starts as the hosts climbed up two places to 15th in the league standings, four points and three spots above the relegation zone.

Road Win Over Black Cats Keeps Wolves Out Of Drop Zone

Jody Craddock (22'), Steven Fletcher (54'), and George Elokobi (78') provided the scoring that carried Wolverhampton to a 3-1 victory---their second straight win by that margin---this time on the road on Saturday over Sunderland. The win kept Wolves out of the English Premier League's relegation zone with one game remaining. A home win next Sunday over Blackburn will secure a third straight season in the Premiership for Mick McCarthy's team.
