EURO 2008: Cesc And Iker Send Spain To Semis

Quarterfinal round action in EURO 2008 came to an exciting climax on Sunday:

At Vienna:

Cesc Fabregas scored the game winning successful penalty kick and Iker Casillas (pictured here) saved two Italian PKs as Spain won their contest with Italy by winning the penalty kick shootout 4-2, after 120 scoreless minutes. Next up for the Spaniards, a semifinal encounter with Russia this coming Thursday in Vienna.
