The second qualifying round for the 2008-09 UEFA Champions League commence Tuesday with three games:
At Baku, Azerbaijan:
Serbian club Partizan Belgrade gained a 1-1 road draw in game one of their two-match set with Inter Baku. Milas Bogunovic (3') put Partizan in front, before Inter Baku's Petar Zlatinov equalized late in the second half.
At Bergen, Norway:
SK Brann took the opening match of their two-game set, 1-0 at home against FK Ventspils of Latvia. Njogu Demba-Nyren scored the game's lone goal at 87 minutes.
At Dublin, Ireland:
Dynamo Kiev took game one of their two-game series with Drogheda United FC, 2-1 on the road. Taras Mikhalik and Olexandr Aliyev provided the goals for the guests.
