A natural first-half hat trick from Oribe Peralta (14', 29', 33') enabled Mexico to double up hosts New Zealand 4-2 in Wednesday's second match of their two-game intercontinental playoff, which El Tri handily won 9-3 on aggregate.  Mexico thus qualified for their sixth consecutive World Cup, their 15th overall.
