MLS Cup Playoffs: Dynamo Erase Two-Goal Deficit To Gain Series-Opening Draw With Red Bulls; Galaxy Top RSL In Series Opener

Major League Soccer's MLS Cup Playoffs continued with two games on Sunday.

At Houston:

Ricardo Clark (51') and Omar Cummings (90'+2) provided the scoring as the Houston Dynamo battled back from a two-goal deficit and gain an Eastern Conference semifinal series-opening draw with the visiting New York Red Bulls.  Tim Cahill (22') and Eric Alexander (32') each scored a goal for the Red Bulls, who were reduced to ten men after losing Jamison Olave to a straight red-card ejection in the 65th minute.

At Carson, California:

Sean Franklin scored the only goal of the match in the 48th minute as the Los Angeles Galaxy held off visiting Real Salt Lake 1-0 in the opening contest of their Western Conference semifinal series.
