The opening week of the UEFA Champions League's quarterfinal round concluded on Wednesday with two games.
At Paris:
Ezequiel Lavezzi (3', that's frustrated Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech after he failed to make the save on that goal), David Luiz (OG-61'), and Javier Pastore (90'+3) each delivered a goal as Paris Saint-Germain defeated visiting Chelsea 3-1 in the opening match of their two-game series with Chelsea. Eden Hazard's successful 27th-minute kick kept some sort of hope for the Blues in this series.
At Madrid:
Gareth Bale (3', that's him--on the right--celebrating with teammates Daniel Carvajal and Xabi Alonso), Isco (27'), and Cristiano Ronaldo (57') each delivered a goal as Real Madrid, in search of their tenth European club title, dominated visiting Borussia Dortmund 3-0 in the opening match of their two-game series.
