The preliminary round of the OFC Champions League commenced with two games on Tuesday, with all games played at Apia, Samoa.
In the opening contest,Kang Gun-chul's equalizer in the 90th minute enabled FC SKBC (American Samoa) to salvage a 1-1 draw with Puaikura FC. Temana Pennycook scored for the club from the Cook Islands in the first minute of first-half stoppage time.
In the second game, Luki Gosche scored the only goal of the match in the 83rd minute as Lupe ole Soaga (Samoa) defeated Tonga's Lotoha'apai United 1-0.

2. FC SKBC (GP: 1; GD: 0; PTS: 1)
3. Puaikura FC (GP: 1; GD: 0; PTS: 1)
4. Lotoha'apai United (GP: 1; GD: -1; PTS: 0)
Each team plays one game against each other team in the group. The club that finishes first would advanced to the group stage, which is slated to start play on April 17, with all games to be played in Fiji.
