The Hexagonal Round of CONCACAF-regional qualifying for next year's World Cup resumed on Thursday with three games as the final round of qualifying is reached the midway point.
At Commerce City, Colorado:
Christian Pulisic scored twice (52', 62') as the United States blanked visiting Trinidad and Tobago 2-0. The victory placed the Americans in the third and final automatic World Cup qualifying berth.
At San Jose, Costa Rica:
Ten-man Costa Rica and visiting Panama battled to a 0-0 stalemate.
At Mexico City:
Oswaldo Alanis (35'), Hirving Lozano (63'), and Raul Jimenez (66') each scored once as Mexico tightened their hold on the top spot in the Hexagonal standings following their 3-0 home domination of Honduras.

The top three finishers would automatically qualify for next year's World Cup in Russia while the fourth-place finisher would take part in a two-game home-and-away playoff series against the fifth-place squad from Asia.
